Accredited Operator Course at Our Nelspruit Campus

United Training Centre offers accredited Bobcat / Skid Steer training at its Nelspruit campus for R4,000. Mbombela’s residential estate developments — Intaba Estate, Green Valley Estate along the Nels River, and Matumi Valley Estate — are all actively building new homes, and every stand needs site clearing, material handling and landscaping in spaces too tight for larger earth moving machines. That’s exactly what a Bobcat or skid steer is built for.

United Training Centre trains job-seekers in Nelspruit for an accredited Bobcat / Skid Steer Operator qualification. The course costs R4,000 and covers attachment use, manoeuvring in confined spaces, and material handling.

Training happens at our Nelspruit campus. Free accommodation is available for students travelling in from outside the immediate area. Call us on +27 81 795 8133 to enrol.

Working in Tight Spaces — What Skid Steer Work Looks Like on a New Estate

A residential estate build doesn’t have room for a big excavator on every stand — driveways, boundary walls and neighbouring homes limit what fits. A skid steer’s tight turning radius and interchangeable attachments make it the go-to machine for site clearing, backfilling, landscaping and moving material around a confined building site.

Skid steer work on an estate development covers stand clearing before building starts, material handling during construction, and final landscaping once homes are near completion.

Why Mpumalanga Employers Require Accredited Bobcat / Skid Steer Operators

The OHS Act’s Driven Machinery Regulations require skid steer operators to hold a Certificate of Competency before operating on any site.

🏘️ MBOMBELA RESIDENTIAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENTS

Site clearing and landscaping at Intaba, Green Valley and Matumi Valley Estates require accredited skid steer operators.

🏗️ GENERAL BUILDING CONTRACTORS

Residential and commercial building contractors across Nelspruit and Mbombela rely on accredited skid steer operators.

🌳 LANDSCAPING AND GROUNDS CONTRACTORS

Landscaping firms across the Lowveld use skid steers for material handling and site prep.
