What is a Code 14 Driving License?

A Code 14 driving license — also known as an EC license — is the highest category of motor vehicle license in South Africa. It authorises you to drive articulated motor vehicles — commonly known as semi-trucks, artics or eighteen-wheelers — with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) exceeding 16,000kg.
